Our Guardian Home Program allows local families to have a “pick of the litter” Australian Labradoodle puppy or top notch adolescent/adult breeding dog for just a fraction of the price. The Guardian puppy or dog is part of the Guardian Home’s family forever, while breeding rights are retained by Cabin Hill Labradoodles, for a set amount of time. These dogs usually have a shorter breeding career. Once breeding is completed, he/she will be spayed or neutered at our expense and will remain a forever pet of the Guardian Home family. We are always hoping to connect with wonderful families who might be considering guardianship. Please Give us a call or send in an application if you are interested.
What is a Guardian Home?
Are there costs involved?
We do not give our Guardian dogs or puppies away. There is a deposit required, but is a fraction of the cost of a pet puppy. Guardian families are responsible for general routine veterinary care and wellness of the Guardian dog placed with them. This includes feeding a high quality dog food, grooming, monthly heartworm preventative, flea and tick preventative, training, regular exercise and socialization, and most importantly a lot of love! Any breeding related costs are to be the sole responsibility of Cabin Hill Labradoodles.
What are the benefits?
Guardian families get the very best that Cabin Hill Labradoodles has to offer in the Australian Labradoodle! Our breeding stock is carefully chosen based on the best qualities outlined in the breed standard with temperament being of upmost importance. All Guardian dogs will also be completely health tested by 12 months of age, at our expense, prior to entering our breeding program. Guardian families get to enjoy the excitement of being part of our breeding program, and seeing the offspring of their own dog be placed with families across the globe!
